International groups for the implementation of projects of the III International Altai Forum

Group 1.

Title: "Spiritual Transsib – a regional perspective"

Objectives: to promote and develop the Spiritual Transsib project at the regional level of Russia. The main focus will be on the implementation of cultural, educational and tourism initiatives along the Russian highway from Vladivostok to Brest, in order to strengthen interregional cooperation, preserve cultural traditions and maintain the sustainable development of Russian territories

Head: Belekov I.I. – Head of the Representative Office of the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia and Africa in the Altai Republic

Participants: representatives of the administrations of the Spiritual Transsib route

Group 2.

Title: Spiritual Transsib – An international perspective

Objectives: to promote the Spiritual Transsib project at the international level, in order to establish an intercultural dialogue between the countries of Eurasia and Western Europe. In the future, the expansion of cultural, educational and infrastructural ties, starting from China and Central Asia and further to Kaliningrad and Brest, to promote the ideas of peace and co–creation in the Eurasian space Group 2: Spiritual Transsib - An international perspective

Group 3.

Title: "Epics of Eurasia"

Objectives: To support the International Epic Center of the Eurasian Peoples in Yakutsk, including the development of programs for mutual translation, preservation and popularization of the epic heritage of Slavic, Turkic, Caucasian and other peoples of Eurasia

Head: Zhirkov A.N. – First Deputy Chairman of the State Assembly Il Tumen of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Vice-President of the International Association "Epics of the Peoples of the World"

Participants: leading epic scholars of the Russian Federation, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan


Group 4.

Title: "The legacy of Pazyryk"

Objectives: to explore and popularize the Pazyryk culture and its links with the most ancient cultures of mankind, with the aim of including the "Treasures of the Pazyryk culture" in the permanent UNESCO World Heritage List

Head: Sadalova T.M. – Executive Secretary of the National Committee for UNESCO in the Altai Republic, Doctor of Philology

Participants: leading experts of the Altai Republic


Group 5.

Title: : "Union of Sacred Lakes"

Objectives: To actively implement the noospheric ecological and cultural project "Great Lakes of Eurasia", combining efforts to preserve and develop the natural and cultural heritage of Lakes Baikal, Teletskoye, Issyk-Kul and Balkhash

Head: Belekov I.I. – Head of the Representative Office of the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia and Africa in the Altai Republic

Participants: leading experts of the Altai Republic

Group 6.

Title: "Mountain Alliance"

Objectives: To develop an action plan of the UNESCO Chair "Sustainable Development of mountain Territories" of the Gorno-Altai State University to support the decisions of the Forum and promote the sustainable development of mountain regions

Head: Belekov I.I. – Candidate of Historical Sciences, Head of the UNESCO Chair "Sustainable Development of mountain territories" of GAGU

Participants: GAGA employees

Group 7.

Title: "Altai-2026"

Objectives: Organization and holding of the international forum "Sustainable Development of the Altai Mountain Region" in 2026, with an emphasis on global environmental, cultural and social challenges

Head: Sukhova M.G. – Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of GAGA

Participants: employees of the Gorno-Altai State University and the S.S.Surazakov Research Institute of Altai Studies

Group 8.

Title: "Golden Mountains"

Objectives: Development and promotion of the Golden Mountains of Altai nomination to strengthen the status of Altai mountain territories as a World Heritage Site and enhance international recognition

Head: Kalmykov I.V. – Director of the Altai State Biosphere Reserve

Participants: Managers and employees of the Altai, Katunsky Biosphere reserves and natural parks of the Altai Republic

Group 9.

Title: "Youth Initiative"

Objectives: To develop methodological recommendations for educational institutions in the region to involve young people in solving the problems of sustainable development of the Altai Mountain region through thematic field schools, competitions and scientific projects

Head: Ebel A.V. – Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology of GAGU

Participants: GAGA students

Group 10.

Title: "Forum Secretariat"

Objectives: To create and support a special secretariat of the International Altai Forum in the Altai Republic, which will coordinate, promote and develop the events and projects of the Forum at the international level
